Recently, Aerospace Painting Company (APC), a subsidiary of HNA Technic, successfully completed the full-body repainting of an Airbus A320 aircraft for Yemenia, Yemen's national flag carrier. This is the first aircraft painting project for a Yemeni aircraft undertaken in the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), marking a further expansion of the FTP's presence in the global aircraft maintenance sector and reinforcing its reputation as a hub for high-quality MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) services.

The aircraft's original paintwork showed signs of cracking, requiring careful treatment upon arrival to prevent further damage to the fuselage skin. Throughout the repainting process, APC maintained rigorous control over environmental conditions in the hangar, including temperature and humidity. The team matched the paint colors precisely to Yemenia's official specifications and used advanced equipment and techniques to ensure a smooth coat with excellent gloss and adhesion.

As a key tenant of the FTP's one-stop aircraft maintenance base, APC continues to leverage Hainan's policy advantages and convenient transportation links to strengthen its technical capabilities and service offerings. Since the facility started operation, APC has achieved multiple "firsts" and completed painting services for over 270 aircraft from numerous countries and regions around the world.
