30-Day Countdown Begins! The 6th Hainan Expo Invites the World
On March 14, the 30-day countdown ceremony for the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (also known as the “Hainan Expo”) was launched at Haikou’s Qilou Historical and Cultural Quarter. At the launch ceremony, Hainan Tourism International Promotion Ambassadors from more than ten countries—including Germany, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Belarus, and Pakistan—gathered at the site together with nearly 40 domestic and international influencers from platforms such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu. They shared their expectations for this year’s expo.

Over the 2026 Spring Festival period, the Hainan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and Hainan Daily released A Voyage Beyond the Abyssal Blue, an AI-generated short film exploring the mystery of a 500-year-old shipwreck that lies at the bottom of the sea south of Hainan Island.

On March 12, the COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Primary Games opened at Harrow Haikou in Hainan Free Trade Port(FTP).
