FTP Value-added Processing ‘0-tariff’ Domestic Sales: Over ¥11 b
According to figures released by Haikou Customs on Nov. 28, the Hainan Free Trade Port value-added "zero tariff" policy, which was first implemented in 2021, has resulted in sales of around 11.096 billion yuan by the 129 companies enrolled in the pilot program, with exempted tariffs adding up to approximately 860 million yuan over the last four years.

China will further ease market entry criteria for companies seeking to tap duty-free and preferential policies in its Hainan Free Trade Port, Customs officials said on Tuesday, ahead of the port's island-wide special Customs operations on Dec 18.
