Realistic scenes, rich props, thoughtful service...the Sea Breeze International Movie Studios recently played host to a mixed Chinese and British couple, Dora and Harvey. They were there to try out the Studios’ immersive “silver screen” experience package and to feel the unique Hollywood charm of a film studio.

“It’s hard to imagine that just a few months ago, this was an abandoned building,” said Harvey. Now, its a large-scale studio and shooting base that provides one-stop film and television production services (including real-scene studios, external production, photography studios, props, costumes and equipment rentals).

“With so many different sets and soundstages, we could find just about anything we wanted.” Harvey is of the opinion that a site like this not only helps filmmakers save costs, it’s also more efficient.

Covering everything that the film and television industry requires for short dramas, it is understood that the 177 standalone villas in 90 different styles make up the 14,000m² of floor space of Sea Breeze International Movie Studios. Providing a whole industrial chain one-stop solution (including content, shooting, operations, post-production, and distribution), Sea Breeze has also helped the development of Lingshui by creating a functional industrial cluster of short drama related services, and will continue to push forward locally rooted industrial support services with the Science and Technology Innovation Fund and Short Drama Special Fund.
