Super Typhoon Yagi is moving west at a speed of 20 km/hour. At 13:00 on the 6th, the center of the typhoon was located over the ocean around 95 km. east-southeast of Wenchang City (19.6 degrees north latitude, 111.7 degrees east longitude) with a maximum wind force of Level 17 (68 m/s, about 245km/hour). Yagi is predicted to move northwest at a speed of around 20 km./hour, and to remain at the same intensity. It will likely make landfall on the coast of Wenchang in the afternoon or evening of the 6th as a super typhoon of wind force 17 or above (68-70 m/s) and then pass through Haikou, Chengmai, Lingao, and other Hainan cities and counties before moving into the Beibu Gulf in the early morning of the 17th.
