This year’s 11^th named storm, super typhoon Yagi, is forecast to make landfall on the coast between Wenchang, Hainan and Xuwen, Guangdong in the evening of the 6^th. To ensure public safety, the S82 Nandu River Bridge was closed to traffic at 10:00 on September 6, 2024, with eastbound traffic stopped from the Longkun South Interchange to the Airport Interchange, and westbound traffic stopped from the Airport Interchange to the Longqiao Interchange. A reopening announcement will be made when conditions permit.
