This year’s 11th named storm, Super Typhoon Yagi, is forecast to make landfall on the coast between Wenchang, Hainan and Xuwen, Guangdong in the evening of the 6th. To ensure public safety, the Haikou City Flood, Wind, and Drought Relief Headquarters has announced the closure of Century Bridge and Wenming East Tunnel starting at 8 AM on Sept. 6. A reopening announcement will be made when conditions permit.
