The 4th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), also known as the Hainan Expo, will be held in Hainan from April 13 to 18. What attracts exhibitors to the Expo? During the third CICPE in 2023, the cumulative on-site sales of the Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub (G-Hub) booth hit 2.34 million yuan, with an additional 11 million yuan in intended orders. As a result, G-Hub—one of Greenland Business and Trade Group's main businesses—announced their continued attendance at this year's Hainan Expo.

Last year, the Mongolian Pavilion followed G-Hub with total sales of over 500,000 yuan in the five days of the exhibition. Favored by local buyers, their nearly 3,000 wool products sold out. This strengthened their determination to enter the Chinese market.
With the further development of the Hainan Free Trade Port, various preferential policies have also attracted the attention of many overseas traders. The person in charge of the South African Import Pavilion said that South African products were favored by many consumers in previous exhibitions. At the same time, Hainan's policy advantages have also made them willing to further develop in Hainan. According to Zheng Ting (General Manager of the South African Import Pavilion), Hainan's free trade port policy is very inclusive, and the development of cross-border bonded and offshore island duty-free is booming. South Africa hopes to take advantage of the opportunities. "Many products from South Africa enter China through the Bonded Area. We hope to have more cooperation with Hainan in the future.”

Since the first CICPE, many exhibitors have become investors in Hainan. Take the Greenland Group as an example. After participating in the first Expo in 2020, Greenland Group subsequently set up the country's first global logistics supply chain headquarters in Hainan in 2022. With cross-border trade, intelligent logistics, cold chain processing, and retail as the four main development directions, the company plans to fully utilize the FTP's policy advantages.
Dong Yue (deputy manager of the exhibition operations department of G-Hub) revealed that this year, Greenland will focus on organizing a "Belt and Road" Initiative and Silk Road e-commerce partner countries related exhibition, and is expected to organize products and brands from nearly 30 countries. Hoping to make more foreign brands see the enthusiasm and opportunities of China's consumer market, the group will also reinforce their work with foreign new and technological goods.
