The one-stop aircraft maintenance base in south China’s Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) has provided maintenance checks for over 600 aircraft, painting services for 32 airliners, and accessory maintenance for more than 15,000 aircraft components.

Located in the Haikou Jiangdong New Area, one of the FTP’s key industrial parks, the aircraft maintenance base is a critical project helping to promote the airport-related economy in the capital city of Hainan, and has attracted a total investment of 1.628 billion yuan ($0.23 billion).
Covering a total area of 148,000 square meters, the base is equipped with major facilities including hangars for aircraft examination, maintenance, and painting, as well as the storage of international aviation materials.
Thanks to the preferential policies of the Hainan FTP, the aviation materials and components used in maintenance services for inbound airliners are tax-exempt.
