The 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) Yacht Show and China (Haikou) International Boat and Lifestyle Exhibition (3rd Hainan Expo Yacht Show), which opened on April 12, 2023, has drawn yacht exhibitors from China and around the globe to debut their new products. A glut of 225 well-known domestic and foreign brand boats are being showcased at the event, spoiling visitors for choice.

At the Bavaria Yachts exhibition hall, the magnificent VIRTESS 420 FLY offers an excellent field of vision for pilots and has a leisure area on the top deck, with optional Bennett dual transom flaps providing a smooth sailing experience in any sea condition. Its duty-paid purchase price (for sale outside Hainan) is around RMB 6.7 million, while the duty-free price is just RMB 5.06 million, offering buyers a saving of over RMB 1.5 million (USD 220,000).

The Williams exhibition hall is showcasing two Turbojet 285 tenders, one Sportjet 395 tender, and one 565 jet-powered inflatable dinghy. The Sportjet 395 is particularly impressive, as it replaces the typical outboard engine with a jet drive engine, rendering it more agile and convenient. Whether for water skiing, island boarding, personnel transportation, or supply replenishment, it offers an optimal experience.

Another worthy mention is the popular Sonic Floating Houseboat. It is designed as a floating vacation home that can be moored on the banks of your favorite lakes or rivers or moved to other places, allowing owners to explore the beautiful water scenery at their leisure and unlock new water activities.

The Sonic Floating Houseboat models HB-A and HB-B both debuted at the show. Compared to yachts, floating homes offer more advantages in terms of space and comfort and are more cost-effective. The price of the HB-A model is RMB 680,000, with the HB-B model a mere RMB 480,000. With a total area of 75.4 square meters, the Sonic HB-A model has two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and living room, a bathroom, and front and rear viewing balconies. The Sonic HB-B model, slightly smaller at 52.5 square meters, has one bedroom, living room, bathroom, and a spacious terrace.

In addition to boats, the exhibition also focuses on connecting upstream and downstream businesses, attracting exhibitors from yacht equipment and accessories, water clubs, water sports, lifestyle, and other fields that offer complementary services for the yacht industry.

Meanwhile, on-site water sports performances, boating cuisine and wine shows, and fishing competitions are being held to promote the yachting lifestyle, and provide a communication platform for exhibitors, professional audiences, and the public.
