The 3rd China International Consumer Product Expo (CICPE), scheduled to be held in Haikou, Hainan from April 11-15, will feature a whopping 145 brands from Italy, this year’s guest of honor country.

This year, the Italian Pavilion will be 1,775 m2 large, double the size of last year’s. The number of Italian brands at the 2023 CICPE will also be double what it was last time. Some of the big Italian brands include Maserati, Lamborghini, Ducati, and the watch brand Panerai from Florence. Panerai is the official countdown partner of the 3rd CICPE, where they will be setting up their largest countdown clock in history.

The Italian Pavilion at the CICPE is a joint project of the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian luxury industry association Altagamma. It will mainly exhibit 75 "Made in Italy" brands from Altagamma, including fashion, design, F&B, auto, hotel, jewelry, and other brand categories.

Jointly organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the Italian Embassy in China, the Italian Consulate General in Guangzhou, and the Italian Trade Agency, a special demonstration area in the Italian Pavilion will put premium Italian companies and brands on display to enhance their presence in the Chinese market. Participating brands include jewelry, apparel, eyeglasses, F&B, ice cream equipment, motorcycle, and many more.

During the CICPE, the pavilion will hold Italian ice cream and wine master classes, along with a host of other activities. Seminars on Italian fashions, lifestyles, and unique cultural concepts will be held simultaneously online and in person, along with limited time only free imported Italian wine, cocktail, and coffee tastings.
