On January 12, 2023, the eighth Hainan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) members from various parties and organizations, ethnic groups, and walks of life gathered together in Hainan’s capital city Haikou for the opening of the committee’s first session with the goal of contributing their wisdom to the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
