Italy will be the guest of honor country at the 2023 China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), also known as the Hainan Expo, which is held annually in Haikou, the capital of Hainan Province, said Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (IEDB) on a news release, adding that preparations are well under way for next year’s event!

Hainan is thrilled to be cooperating with Italy for the 3rd CICPE, and is inviting more Italian companies to participate in the Expo to deepen trade and investment cooperation between the two areas.

Italy is well known for high-end boutique companies, who attach great importance to the brand promotion opportunity provided by the Expo. More than 50 Italian brands participated in the first Hainan Expo in 2021, and over 70 in the 2nd Expo, bringing a wide variety of excellent Italian products including automobiles, clothing, fragrances, watches, jewelry, wine, dairy products, food, and kitchen wares to wow Expo attendees in Hainan. Italian brands that have participated in past Hainan Expos include the popular car brands Ferrari and Maserati, the diary brands Enkel and NESTLÉ MOM, Panerai watches, jewelry brands such as DAMIANI, Sergio Rossi, and Caruso, and cosmetic brands such as Armani Beauty, Prada Perfumes, Gucci Perfumes, and MIUMIU Perfumes.
