The Thirty-Six Quxi (riverbends) Provincial Wetland Park is located in the middle of Qiongshan District. With nearly 85% wetlands coverage, more than 235 of the park's almost 280 hectares of land are wetlands of some type. Called the Nandu River's “most beautiful tributary", the many crooks in the river look like a giant dragon when seen from the air. Unbroken green rice paddies stretch out to either side of the water, and the whole scene is nothing less than spectacular.
