Tanfengyang Provincial Wetland Park is located in Xinpo Town, Longhua District, Haikou City. 

Running 8.5 kilometers from east to west and 4.5 kilometers from north to south, roughly 425 of this park's more than 650 hectares of land are wetlands. 

Including constructed wetlands, river wetlands, lake areas, and marshes, the 10 types of wetlands in 4 categories comprise over 64% of the park's area.

Occurring atop a volcanic substrate, the mix of natural wetlands and rice paddies found here form a unique tropical landscape.
