Dr. Michael J. Ryan Direc-General of WHO Heath Emergencies Program said in Geneva on March 6th that there is no evidence that the COVID-19 will disappear in summer. At present, countries should do their best to fight the novel coronavirus.

"We don't know how COVID-19 will behave in different weather conditions," Ryan said at a routine press conference on the same day.

He stressed that it must be assumed that the virus still has the capacity to spread during the summer. To this end, countries must hurry up and not expect the virus to disappear on its own in the summer like the influenza.

Ryan also said that the disease could appear anywhere on the planet. He called on all countries not to blame each other, but to make every effort to fight the epidemic and save lives.
