Hainan to urge key persons related with 2019-nCoV pneumonia to register accurately

On February 7, The Hainan Provincial High People's Court, Hainan Provincial People's Procuratorate, Hainan Provincial Public Security Department, and Hainan Provincial Justice Department jointly issued a notice on urging key persons related with the novel coronavirus pneumonia to register accurately.

The notice pointed out that at present, the prevention and control of the pneumonia outbreaks is at a critical stage, which is of great concern to the society and the masses. However, a small number of personnel with a history of residence in key areas of the epidemic, or the close contacts with confirmed cases, refused to comply with relevant regulations on epidemic prevention and control, deliberately concealed relevant information such as illness, schedule, contact history, etc., causing the risk of virus transmission, disrupting the order of epidemic prevention and control, and endangering the safety of the public.

The notice also stressed that since the release time of this notice, those key personnel who have not registered must actively report to the local government or the epidemic prevention and control department by 18:00 on February 9. If the refusal to perform the registration and reporting obligations within the prescribed period causes other serious consequences, the judicial organs will severely punish them according to law and incorporate them into the credit information system for multi-department management and punishment.

Any illegal and criminal acts that undermine the prevention and control of the epidemic such as violence against the medical staff, making fake sales, operating illegal business and spreading rumors, shall be severely cracked down in accordance with the law and be investigated for legal responsibilities heavily and quickly.
