Among the confirmed cases, there were 2 in Qionghai City and 1 in Lingshui County.

As of 24:00 on January 29, Hainan Province had reported 46 confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus with 7 severe cases, 1 death case, and 1 discharged case. Of the confirmed cases, there were 9 cases in Haikou, 14 cases in Sanya, 5 cases in Danzhou, 3 cases in Qionghai, 8 cases in Wanning, 1 case in Dongfang, 2 cases in Chengmai County, 1 case in Lingao County, and 2 cases in Lingshui County, and 1 case in Qiongzhong County.

As of 24:00 on January 29, 1119 close contacts have been traced. 102 people have been released from medical observation, and 1017 are still receiving home or intensive medical observations.
