On December 1, "An Open Future", a media tour of Hainan for representatives of international media organizations and social media personalities, visited Yangpu International Container Terminal.

So far, the terminal's 39 shipping routes include 21 international trade routes. In 2020, 2021, and 2022, one new route apiece was added for Oceania, India, and West Africa. This year, direct routes to Indonesia, South America, Hai Phong, and the Philippines will also be opened. They also get to know about China Yangpu Port's international vessel registration policy.

The media tour is funded by the China Internet Development Foundation（CIDF).
