Recently, the Hainan Free Trade Port Health and Wellness Industry Investment Policy Handbook was officially launched at the Pharmaceutical and Big Health Industry Legal Compliance Services Forum held in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province.

The forum was put together by 26 organizations across China, including law offices and higher education institutes. Over 40 industry experts and experienced legal services providers from across the country gathered together in Haikou to put forward suggestions and policy proposals relating to legal compliance in the pharmaceutical and big health industry.

At the forum, several speeches were given, and seminars on topics including legal services relating to big health and industry development trends were held.

The handbook is the first-ever industry guide that contains a compilation of relevant policies for Hainan’s health and wellness industry. It provides a breakdown of the policies, regulations, and implementation guidelines for healthcare practitioners and investors covering policy support, the advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), and the investment prospects of the FTP’s healthcare industry.

Experts attending the forum also paid visits to four medical institutes (including Haikou People’s Hospital), where they gave talks on subjects such as compliance and risk prevention and offered effective advice on compliance issues.
