Jesslyn (Chinese name: Ye Lingling), from Indonesia, is a teacher at Hainan University. Since August 2019, she has taught Indonesian to more than 100 Chinese students; a steady flow of people like her and her students has contributed to the bridge between China and Indonesia. Jesslyn—attracted by the opportunity of the Hainan Free Trade Port—also plans to settle in Hainan for a long time. She hopes that the friendship between Indonesia and China will last forever and that both sides are able to fruitfully work together.
