On August 3, authorities from Haikou in South China’s Hainan Province and from Grodno in the Republic of Belarus held an online signing ceremony to become sister cities. Since the two cities signed a letter of intent for friendly relations in December 2019, they have deepened exchange and mutual support in fields such as industrial park construction and epidemic prevention & control. The two sides have paid special attention to promoting the strengthening of economic, trade, and commercial exchange , as well as advancing cooperation in humanities, arts, and tourism between the two places.
