As of July 5, the magnificent, newly renovated stadium of the Danzhou Sports Center was fully prepared to welcome the  6th Hainan Provincial Games and other related events.

The 6th Hainan Provincial Games will be held in Danzhou, which is located in the northwest part of Hainan's Chinese island province, from August 19 to August 30, 2022. The Sports Center will act as both the main venue for the Provincial Games and the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies.

The stadium is located at the intersection of Beibuwan Avenue and Zhongxing Street in Nada Town, Danzhou, and was built with a total investment of RMB 1.46 billion. It occupies a total land area of 244,000 square meters and a construction area of 102,000 square meters.
