On June 27th, 2022, the Haikou Financial Center was officially opened for business, marking the completion of Hainan’s new financial landmark in Haikou's Jiangdong New Area in southern China’s Hainan Province.

As the first batch of construction projects within the starting area of Jiangdong New Area, the Haikou Financial Center will house a variety of corporations working in emerging financial services such as cross-border financing and industrial finance, as well as financial regulation, insurance, supply chain, and funding institutions. Meanwhile, the Center will promote the transformation and upgrade of the financial innovative industry in Jiangdong New Area through the use of innovative technologies like mobile internet, cloud computing, and big data.
