Recently, China's National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the National Bureau of Statistics jointly issued a notice, to conduct pilot value accounting of forest resources in China's 5 provinces: Hainan, Inner Mongolia, Fujian, Henan and Qinghai. According to Hainan's survey statistics, the province's forest area comprises 2.3 million hectares, the forest area totals 2.2 million hectares, and the forest stock volume reaches 161.1 million cubic meters. In 2021, Hainan announced that the total gross ecosystem production of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park in 2019 was 204.5 billion yuan.
