Since the people of Ding'an built the Nanfu Reservoir here in 1958, the low valley slowly was submerged, becoming a lake, and the original steep peaks within became small islands in the lake, some square, some round, and some long - there are 13 in all. The largest island measures 39,600 square meters, and the smallest just 3,300 square meters.

So pick up your camera, pack your drone, bring your tent, and go to discover the many mysteries of Nanli Lake.
