It's that time of the year for the annual political meetings in our beautiful island province. The Hainan Provincial Two Sessions have commenced and are ongoing from the 20th to the 24th of January. Today is the opening day of the Fifth Session of the Sixth Hainan Provincial People's Congress.

Now what's quite interesting about the Provincial Two Sessions this year, is that deputies and members will answer questions from mainstream media before entering the congress, and this is a first for Hainan.
