Affected by Typhoon Kompasu, Hainan’s Haiwen Bridge and Qinglan Bridge in Wenchang city were announced closed to traffic in both directions from noon Wednesday, with reopening time undetermined, according to the local traffic department. Meanwhile, the Century Bridge in provincial capital Haikou was lifted from two-way temporary control at around 15:05 today.
