The China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo) is expected to be held in Haikou from April 12 to 16, 2022. Next year’s Expo will be 5 days long, one day longer than this year’s. The Expo is an important platform for the display and trade of global consumer goods, and the 2022 Expo will bring Hall 6, which was set up as a food service zone during the first Expo, into the exhibition area as well, increasing the total exhibition area from 80,000 to 100,000 square meters.

The 2022 international exhibition area is expected to total  70,000 square meters, and the domestic exhibition area is expected to cover 30,000 square meters. The Expo will continue to focus on consumer products, continuously improving the quality of international brands at the event, and enhancing the international level of the exhibition and the number of first-time exhibitors.

As the younger generation gradually becomes the largest consumers in the domestic and international commodity markets, domestic products are also becoming the new favorites in the area of fashion. In order to address this growing trend, the 2022 Hainan Expo is expected to add a domestic product exhibition area with fashion, lifestyle, jewelry, and diamonds, providing a separate platform for the display of domestic products. Investment in the 2022 CICPE is in full swing, and more than 80% of the exhibitors at the first Expo have decided to come back again next year.
