The highly anticipated Sanya International Sports Industry Park Stadium was completed on September 15th, and is expected to become a landmark in Sanya with its ability to hold high-level comprehensive national and international individual sporting competitions.

The main body of the stadium was constructed of concrete and steel cable membranes, marking the first time in the world that carbon fiber material has been used in the construction of such a large structure. The carbon fiber components give the stadium a light, airy appearance.

With 45,000 seats, the stadium is the largest venue for comprehensive sporting competitions in Hainan Province. It can not only host "world class" and domestic sports events, but also meets the needs of Sanya’s cultural and sports life.
