Two service centers to provide resources, information and diverse activities for international residents were inaugurated at the Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City in Hainan on July 20.

The technology city is one of 11 key industrial parks in the southernmost province, offering preferential policies for innovators and entrepreneurs and drawing international talents.
The service centers are a measure to improve the public facilities and services in the area. The inauguration was marked by a music party and a salon, taking in suggestions from the participants on how to improve the services.
The technology city was established to boost the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port. The Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City will have a port (Nanshan Port), a science and technology city, a deep-sea science and technology city, a science and education city, as well as a global plant and animal germplasm resource transfer base.
