On November 15, the 18th Congress of the World Federation of Hainanese Associations opened in Penang, Malaysia. Nearly 3,000 people of Hainanese descent from 23 countries and regions gathered to share hometown sentiments and discuss development opportunities. Coinciding with this global gathering, the Hainan Free Trade Port released a list of 400 key investment projects this year to showcase its open opportunities to international investors. The List focuses on Hainan’s distinctive “4+3+3” modern industrial system, covering four major sectors: high-tech industries, modern services, tourism, and high-efficiency tropical agriculture. The Hainan FTP extends an open invitation to global investors to actively participate in project investment, construction, and operations, and to share in the development benefits brought by its high-level opening up.
