The arrival of 2025 has seen Hainan's inbound tourism continue to thrive. As of February 11, the province's three major airports (Haikou Meilan International Airport, Sanya Phoenix International Airport, and Qionghai Boao International Airport) have handled around 268,000 international passengers from 20 countries and regions, with approximately 2,220 international flights, marking respective year-on-year increases of 39% and 36%.

Specifically, Haikou Meilan handled 166,000 international passengers and about 1,400 international flights (up 22% and 14% year-on-year), and Sanya Phoenix handled 100,000 international passengers and approximately 808 international flights (up 81% and 99% year-on-year).
To offer international passengers a better travelling experience, the three airports have established one-stop service centers and bilingual customer service hotlines at the airports. Additionally, smart translation devices providing real-time translation service in 45 languages are available, ensuring smooth communication during inquiries, check-ins, and baggage claim.

For currency exchange, Haikou Meilan and Sanya Phoenix airports have set up six currency exchange locations at the airports, offering up to 19 foreign currencies exchange services. Additionally, all merchants within these three airports accept major overseas bank cards for payment.
In terms of transportation services, a total of 18 car rental points with 2,461 dedicated parking spaces have been put in place at the three airports, providing passengers with more options to explore the tropical island.
