On the morning of September 1, the Hainan Free Trade Port aerospace industry investment promotion conference and project signing ceremony co-sponsored by Wenchang International Aerospace City Administration and Wenchang Municipal People’s Government were held in Wenchang Aerospace·Modern City.

Wenchang International Aerospace City is one of the eleven  key parks of Hainan Free Trade Port, while aerospace industry is one of the three major future industries in Hainan.

A total of 12 projects were signed to settle in Wenchang, covering many fields such as aerospace science and technology, marine ecology, cultural tourism, agriculture, and health care.

Among 12 projects signed on that day, China Aerospace Museum, with the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed between the Hainan Provincial Government and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, will accelerate the establishment of its Hainan branch in the starting area of Wenchang International Aerospace City.

The specific construction content of the project includes "two platforms and one center", that is, a platform for market promotion and publicity, a platform for aerospace science, technology and culture output and exchange, and a demonstration center for new forms of technology, culture and tourism.

The Hainan Aerospace launch commercial measurement and control system project plans to invest about 700 million yuan. It will build a diversified, technological and ecological industry cluster, with aerospace launch commercial measurement and control as the main body and supplemented by aerospace product development, satellite data applications, scientific and technological innovation and business.

The Future Aerospace Research Institute plans to invest 10 million yuan in Wenchang International Space City to establish an aerospace research headquarters base, and to jointly build and operate the first professional aerospace cultural tourism incubator in China-"Future Journey Incubator" with Wenchang International Aerospace City Administration. The "Future Journey Incubator" will bring together cutting-edge aerospace culture at home and abroad as well as outstanding aerospace experts and education experts in the industry, to develop and launch competitive cultural and creative products related to aerospace research, so as to create a new benchmark for China's aerospace cultural tourism.
