In Haikou, there are two immortal statues. One is Qiu Jun, a scholar who combines profundity with virtue of Neo-Confucianism dedicated to governing and benefiting the people, the other is Hai Rui, the "Upright Official of the South China Sea", known for his integrity and impartiality. Over 500 years of time passing, their spirits still shine brightly, becoming strong backbone deep in Haikou's cultural context. Episode 3 of "Cultural Vein of Hainan (Haikou Chapter)" takes you on a journey to discover the inner spirit and ideals of Qiu Jun and Hai Rui.
