To celebrate traditional Chinese culture, advocate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and create a vibrant festival atmosphere, the School of International Education at Hainan Medical University recently held activities at both the Haikou Jiangdong New Area and the university’s main campus. These activities, which were themed around love for the traditional Dragon Boat Festival food Zongzi (leaf-wrapped rice dumplings with a variety of fillings) as well as the importance of health care, combined traditional folk customs with TCM cultural elements. Hundreds of faculty members, students, and international students from the School of International Education came together to joyfully celebrate this year’s Dragon Boat Festival.
