As Hainan expands its inbound tourism sector, Haikou is increasingly attracting interest from tourism stakeholders in Russian-speaking countries.
Recently, a delegation of 100 top travel agencies from these regions visited Haikou. They explored the city's tourism sites and offerings, gained insight into the local market, and discussed potential cooperation prospects. The visit highlighted various products such as city tours, coastal holidays, and cultural activities.
For many international visitors, Haikou offers more than a seaside escape; it also provides opportunities to immerse in the city's culture and lifestyle. A variety of tourism activities, such as coastal leisure, wellness holidays, and city sightseeing, enhance the opportunities for travelers from Russian-speaking countries to explore Hainan.
Madina Sabitova, head of the delegation of 100 leading travel agencies from Russian-speaking countries, noted that travelers from these regions are increasingly interested in Haikou's city tours, coastal holidays, and cultural experiences. She highlighted the significant potential in Haikou's cultural and tourism sectors and expressed her enthusiasm for strengthening collaboration with the city to jointly expand the tourism market.
The tour allowed tourism industry representatives from Russian-speaking countries to gain a more direct understanding of Haikou's tourism resources and products. In turn, demand from international markets offers Haikou new insights into enhancing its global tourism offerings and services for international visitors.
