The 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (also known as the CICPE, or Hainan Expo) is scheduled to be held in Haikou from April 13-18. Inside this year’s CICPE Big Health Pavilion, the ‘Never-ending’ International Innovative Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Exhibition of the Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone will be set up with five core areas showcasing cutting-edge pharmaceuticals and medical devices from around the world.

Thanks to the combined policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the Lecheng Pilot Zone, this year's Expo will provide a large, global health platform combining policy empowerment, cutting-edge leadership, integrated exhibitions & sales, and health experiences. The new consumer platform features five core areas: the Free Trade Port Policy Exhibition Area, the International Pharmaceutical Exhibition Area, the Healthy Living Exhibition Area, the China Innovative Pharmaceutical Exhibition Area, and the China Innovative Medical Device Exhibition Area. The health elements of the Expo will be on display at Lecheng throughout the year, allowing domestic and international visitors to discover the latest achievements in the global healthcare field.

During the Expo, Lecheng will host events such as the Super AI Digital Hospital Technology Matchmaking Conference, the Health Consumer Spending Innovation Partner Conference, and the Lecheng New Creation and Sharing: Expo Health Tour forum series, promoting the deep integration of medical technology, health consumer spending, and Hainan's tourism resources. During the Expo period, several exchange activities under the theme of ‘Global Technology Convergence, Developing Human Health Together’ will be held jointly in the Lecheng Pilot Zone and the Boao Forum for Asia venue, contributing ‘Lecheng solutions’ to the development of the global healthcare industry.

Lecheng will launch cutting-edge medical technology and product health solutions based on the international innovative pharmaceuticals and medical devices, specialty foods, new biomedical technologies, and high-quality medical resources available in the pilot zone, focusing on key areas such as precision oncology treatment, chronic disease management, sub-health conditioning, medical aesthetics, ophthalmology treatment, and early screening and diagnosis of major diseases, systematically showcasing Lecheng's comprehensive service capabilities.

On the industry side, through the China Duty Free Group's health platform and cross-border e-commerce experience hall, the different exhibition areas will provide participating companies with integrated services ranging from brand display and policy alignment to market transformation, and offer opportunities for international innovative products to prepare to enter the Chinese market.

To enhance public engagement, the exhibition area will feature four immersive experiences: a Tomorrow's Healthcare Experience Zone, a Global Selection Experience Zone, a Portable Technology Experience Zone, and a Light Consultation and Health Service Station. Visitors can take advantage of the many new health opportunities provided by medical technology by undergoing AI health assessments, viewing product demonstrations, and attending on-site consultations.

Currently there are over 40 medical institutions operating in the Lecheng Pilot Zone, including top domestic public hospitals such as the Ruijin Hainan Hospital and West China Hospital, as well as international and domestic brand institutions such as the Boao Fulong Cardiovascular Hospital and the Boao Yiling Life Care Center. During the Hainan Expo, Lecheng will provide a dedicated shuttle bus service connecting major medical institutions with the exhibition area. Riders can start from the exhibition hall and visit various distinctive medical institutions to experience firsthand the one-stop services combining exhibitions, medical treatment , and tourism that are available in the pilot zone.

Meanwhile, the CICPE Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Exhibition will provide integrated exhibition and sales services, holding six major themed public benefit activities including the Expo Spring Health Preservation activity, an Expo Food Festival, special Expo product offers, a Green Expo Consultation Channel, an Expo Star Broadcast, and an Expo Free Clinic Escort service, offering a wide range of activities including medical care, shopping, food, consultation, live streaming, and free clinics.

In April, Lecheng will host several high-level forums, industry matchmaking events, and debuts. These include the ‘Eco-Consumer Journey - Innovation for Health and Well-being’ themed press conference, the Special Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices + AI Medical Summit, the Special Food Summit, the 2026 Health Consumer Spending Season, the 2026 Hainan Free Trade Port Global Industry Investment Promotion Conference Medical & Health Industry Investment Promotion Session, the Cross-border Trade Health Product Launch & Promotion Conference, the Canadian Health Product Matchmaking Conference, the Parkinson's Disease Related Diagnosis & Treatment Conference, the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Expert Seminar, and debut events for seal oil, glucosamine, milk thistle, and probiotic products.
