
The 35th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup will be held in Haikou from February 4th to 8th. At around 5:00 AM on February 2nd, flights CX310 from Hong Kong and HU748 from Singapore landed at Meilan International Airport, bringing over 50 table tennis athletes along with support teams from Singapore, India, Hong Kong, and Taipei to Haikou in preparation for the sports event.

In the Meilan Airport customs clearance hall, a dedicated Asian Cup channel was clearly marked, allowing participants to clear customs quickly and efficiently.
"Customs clearance was very fast, and the experience was excellent. It made it very convenient for us to participate in the competition. I hope to have the opportunity to come to Haikou again next time," said Zeng Jian, a contestant from Singapore.

According to Meilan Airport Customs, more teams from Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and other countries will arrive in the coming days. To ensure that this international event runs smoothly, the customs department coordinated with the organizing committee in advance to track the arrival and departure of participants, arranging for multilingual staff to provide customs clearance assistance, making the process quick and easy for visiting table tennis teams.

This tournament marks the first time the Asian Cup has been held in Haikou, and it is also the first major international sporting event held in Hainan Free Trade Port since island-wide special customs operations began. As an important event of the Asian Table Tennis Union and a qualifier for the ITTF World Cup, the tournament features men's and women's singles events, with 64 outstanding players from fifteen countries and regions across Asia competing, promising a spectacular sporting and cultural spectacle for the audience.
