Pizza Hut China celebrated the grand opening of a new Sanya location, the brand’s 4,000th restaurant nationwide. This marks a new phase of accelerated expansion in the China restaurant market.

According to Yum China's Q3 2025 earnings report, Pizza Hut has recorded an increase in same-store transactions for the eleventh consecutive quarter, with a 17% year-on-year increase in the latest period.

The company plans to open over 600 new stores annually for the next three years, with a goal of a total of over 6,000 total Pizza Huts in China by 2028. With a clear Five-Year Plan to 'Double Pizza Hut', the brand aims to double total 2024 profits by 2029, demonstrating strong confidence in the future of the China restaurant market.
