On October 17, the 2025 China Industrial Transfer and Development Matchmaking Activities (Hainan) kicked off in Haikou. As an important platform for the industrial development of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Haikou National High-tech Zone signed 15 projects at the main venue and sub-venues, with a total contract value of 2.513 billion yuan. These projects will inject new momentum into strengthening and extending the zone’s key industrial chains, driving high-quality regional economic development.

The signed projects cover key industries prioritized by the park, including biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, high-end food processing, new energy-saving and eco-friendly materials, and modern services. Biomedicine and advanced manufacturing, as major engines of the zone’s industrial growth, featured prominently with two representative projects signed at the main venue — the stem cell key laboratory by Everflourish Global Investments Limited and the low-altitude economy project by Beijing Xinping Logistics Co., Ltd. Additional projects, such as an integrated sterilization technology center, pharmaceutical distribution, gene and cell therapy, production of fully biodegradable plastic bags, and intelligent unmanned vehicles, were signed during thematic matchmaking events on modern biomedicine, food, and advanced equipment manufacturing.

During the conference, representatives from participating enterprises also visited the park in groups to gain a deeper understanding of its industrial development and supporting facilities. Officials from the Haikou National High-tech Zone held discussions with representatives from companies such as Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical, Simcere Pharmaceutical, China Isotope & Radiation Corporation (CIRC), Auntea Jenny, as well as several French biopharmaceutical firms, to explore new opportunities for cooperation.
