Representing surfing, cycling, table tennis, and weightlifting, the four athletes are highly qualified for their slots on the national team. Surfer Wu Shidong won the men's shortboard gold at the Asian Games surfing qualifiers. Road Cyclist Zhang Hao clinched victory in the women's individual time trial at the National Road Cycling Championships, securing her qualification for two Asian Games events: the women's individual time trial and the women's road race. Rising table tennis star Lin Shidong earned direct selection via his world singles ranking and will enter four events: men's team, singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Weightlifter He Yueji qualified through comprehensive evaluations across multiple rounds at the World Championships and Asian Championships, and will compete in the men's 65kg category.
