On May 29, the 47th COPOLCO Plenary and Workshops held a thematic forum in Haikou focused on shared concerns regarding consumer protection and high-quality service development. Showcasing China’s practices in service consumption standardization, building a reassuring consumption environment, integrating manufacturing with services, and opening up cooperation in the service trade, the forum also provided a key opportunity for all parties to deepen exchanges and cooperation. During the meeting, the Hainan Provincial Consumers Committee, together with several industry associations in Hainan, made a joint commitment to “set quality benchmarks and build a reassuring consumption environment.”
