The Hainan Free Trade Port High-Standard Development Exhibition & Qionghai City Exhibition will be held at Boao Dongyu Island Cultural Park from March 24 to 27.

The exhibition will be open to all participants attending the BFA annual conference this year, as well as to domestic and international media. Daily visiting hours are from 9.30 to 22.00 by appointment.

The exhibition on the FTP's development is divided into four sections: "Preface", "Striving to Write Hainan's Chapter on Chinese Modernization", "Building Hainan Free Trade Port into a Leading Gateway of China's Opening-up in the New Era", and "Building a Modernized Industrial System with Hainan Characteristics and Advantages". Through a dynamic mix of graphics, charts, physical exhibits, videos, and immersive interactive installations, the exhibition presents the latest progress in building the Hainan Free Trade Port, along with the province's industrial blueprint and development roadmap for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

It also features a range of interactive experience zones that create an immersive atmosphere where technology and culture intersect. A dedicated cultural space highlights the island’s deep-rooted heritage, inviting visitors to fully experience its natural beauty and humanistic charm.

The Qionghai City Exhibition, themed "Meeting the World in Boao, Renewing Qionghai through Free Trade," features four themed pavilions, five cultural reception halls, and two interactive lawn areas, forming an immersive and relatable urban panorama. The surround-screen film Flying Over Qionghai and the Industrial Tree of Life installation showcase the city's development and industrial dynamism. Exhibits on the "Hometown of Overseas Chinese," intangible cultural heritage skills, the Red Detachment of Women, and Tanmen's fishing community tell the story of the city's open genes and spiritual foundation. Interactive experiences like spinning bikes and the "Mysteries of the South China Sea" holographic cabin enable visitors to engage with the city's marine and terrestrial ecology. An exhibition zone dedicated to the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone showcases medical innovation and the future of healthy living. The Qionghai City Exhibition connects development visions with practical actions, highlighting Qionghai's open vitality and latest development achievements as the "Eastern Central City of Hainan" across all aspects.

A lawn interaction area is set to bring to life the youthful energy of the new Qionghai under the Hainan Free Trade Port. Popular local bands perform live, alongside alternating ballet and Qiongju opera performances. In this setting, the national strategy is no longer an abstract idea, but a tangible, participatory urban experience that people can see, feel, and share in.
