I came to China in 2019 and traveled to more than 15 provinces and 50 cities around China. I landed in Beijing in February and after one month; I took my first visit to the paradise of China called Hainan province in March of 2019. I spent almost one week in Hainan and made many friends during the visit to four different cities.

After a long time, last week, I received a message from my friend “Coco”, she is a student at Hainan University. She read a piece of news about Pakistan's support and relief on the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia for China. She texted me to said thanks for Pakistan's support during a crucial time. She also appreciated the efforts and sympathy of the Pakistani community in China for Chinese people.

Bilal Sabri was invited to attend the Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Beijing as a foreign reporter on October 1st, 2019.

The world faced several natural disasters including earthquakes, floods, fire and epidemic from the beginning but this time the novel coronavirus pneumonia (2019-nCoV) hit Wuhan, China. The patients of novel coronavirus pneumonia are increasing day by day in China but China took a strict initiative for controlling the spread. The virus, which causes 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease, is capable of spreading from person to person and symptoms include fever, coughing and breathing difficulties.

The World Health Organization (WHO) appreciated China’s government on all measures, which are taken to control spreading in different parts of the world.

In this difficult situation, Pakistan always stands with China shoulder-to-shoulder spiritually and financially in all situations. Pakistan's government and people proved that China is not fighting against the demon virus alone. Dr. Usman Janjua a Pakistani faculty member at Changsha Medical University has volunteered himself to join his Chinese friends to fight against deadly novel Coronavirus and a Pakistani Abdul Zahir Hamad and his wife Mauritian Hosany Sumayyah are serving as volunteers at a highway exit checkpoint in Wenzhou, east China’s Zhejiang Province. The married couple, both work as doctors at Panhealth Medical Center in Wenzhou, according to local media. Moreover, Pakistan sends masks and medical equipments for Chinese brethrens.

Bilal Sabri was invited to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference in Hainan in 2019 as a reporter.

People are advised to stay at home and should not come out unnecessarily. So, due to these reasons Pakistani restaurant “Zam Zam” started free food delivery services near all branches around China.

Muhammad Wasim, a student at Wuhan University said he is feeling more secure than ever before. He said the Chinese government takes care of all students like their own children. The Chinese government provides all facilities including food, medical and other necessities of daily usage at doorstep, “We are grateful for all measures taken by the government”, he added.

Bilal Sabri took a 10-month China Public Diplomacy Association program at the School of Journalism and Communication of Renmin University of China in 2019.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, I am always thinking about my Chinese brethrens but I know China is the only country in the world that can take measures to overcome and diminish novel coronavirus pneumonia in effective ways.

In this tough time, China stands very tall to overcome this challenge. China also defeated many other challenges under the leadership of China Communist Party (CPC). China is quite capable with strength, unity, power, and technology to overcome. We believe and pray for China to defeat demon coronavirus.

I hope and pray for China will shine again soon.
