　　10月10日，柬埔寨王国驻海口总领事馆正式开馆。今年是中华人民共和国成立70周年，也是海南建省办经济特区31周年。作为新中国成立以来外国在琼设立的首家总领事馆，柬埔寨王国驻海口总领事馆的设立，对海南推进自贸区、自贸港建设，深化双方合作具有重要意义，对于柬埔寨与海南进一步加强经贸合作、人文交流，扩大两地在热带农业、旅游业等方面的合作具有重要的推动意义，并有利于积极推动柬埔寨与海南的交流与合作，推动中柬关系不断迈上新台阶。

　　On October 10th, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Haikou is established. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the Hainan Special Economic Zone. As the first foreign consulate general that has been established in Hainan province since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the consulate general is of great significance to the promotion of the construction of Hainan Pilot Free Trade Zone and free trade port with Chinese characteristics, as well as the deepening of bilateral cooperation between the province and Cambodia.

　　In addition, it will strengthen economic and trade ties, promote cultural exchanges, as well as expand cooperation in the fields of tropical agriculture and tourism between Hainan and Cambodia. The consulate will boost China-Cambodia ties through more exchanges and cooperation projects in trade and cultural areas between Hainan and Cambodia.
