The annual Sanyuesan Festival, a traditional celebration for Hainan’s Li and Miao people, will officially kick off with an opening ceremony at 5 PM on April 11 in Baoting, this year’s main venue. The opening gala will feature a variety of song and dance performances accompanied by traditional local instruments, showcasing the beauty and power of Hainan’s local minority cultures.
