The Village Basketball League of Dongfang may lack the glamour and polish of a professional sports competition, but what it lacks in official decorum it makes up in pure basketball passion. Players come from all walks of life, a motley crew of spectators cheers wildly, and every play captivates the whole crowd. Here, basketball is all about love, honor, and joy.

Yulinzhou is located on a beach southwest of Basuo Town, Dongfang. The distinctive features of the area include a pebble beach, a lighthouse, and large wind turbines. The romantic coastline is the perfect place to watch the colorful sunset colors wash over the sea - this view is definitely worth the trip!

Next, check out the exceptional natural beauty of Dongfang’s Gancheng Bay: named one of Hainan’s most beautiful bays in 2023, the waters here play host to 116 species of phytoplankton, 57 species of zooplankton, and hundreds of species of larger sea creatures, making it a paradise for ocean lovers and anglers alike.

In Baicha Village, the traditional boat-shaped thatched homes and magnificent brocades of the Li People are no longer just images in history books but ‘living fossils’ that can be touched and treasured. Food is the most satisfying way to end our Dongfang journey.
