Thanks to the island-wide special customs operations of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), Yangpu is rapidly turning policy advantages into real economic gains.
Two significant incentives directly address the heart of business needs. First, goods whose value increases by at least 30% after undergoing processing in Hainan can be sold on the domestic market free of customs duties. Meanwhile, production equipment imported by enterprises is eligible for zero tariffs, significantly reducing overall manufacturing and processing costs.
Second, the China Yangpu Port of Registry offers an attractive package of benefits for the shipping sector. Qualified vessels can enjoy tax refunds on ship purchases, as well as reductions and exemptions on import taxes, directly easing the financial burden on shipping companies.
From processing and manufacturing to international shipping, this combined policy package of “tax exemptions plus tax refunds” is reshaping corporate cost structures. So, how much can businesses actually save under these policies? The answer lies in the tangible, measurable benefits that result in substantial savings!
