In recent years, with the improving water quality of the Sanya River, more and more water birds have begun to nest in trees in the surrounding mangroves, making the place a paradise habitat for these fascinating creatures. Currently, there are nearly 30 species of waterbirds found in the area, including Little Egrets, Great Egrets, Pond Herons, Night Herons, and more.
