Announcement for Travelers Departing via Haikou Meilan Airport

In order to ensure the safety and orderly return of stranded passengers from August 15th, the required documents for personnel from Haikou Meilan International Airport are as follows:

I. Travelers who have not been to virus-hit cities/counties (districts) within the past 7 days shall not buy flight tickets unless they have two negative NAT results issued within the past 48 hours (one test per day, which can include a result from a test taken on the day of departure). Their NAT results records will be carefully checked by the airport authorities before they are permitted board their flight to leave the island.

II. In addition to strict health status monitoring, travelers who have been to virus-hit cities/counties (districts) within the past 7 days shall undergo “five NATs within 7 days” (i.e. two negative NAT results on different days between Day 1 and Day 4, and 3 negative NAT results from Day 5 to Day 7 respectively, and can also include a result from a test taken on the day of departure). Only after said travelers have met the requirements above can they buy flight tickets. Their NAT results records will be carefully checked by the airport authorities before they are permitted board their flight to leave the island.
